A great time was had by all! Arnaldo's Banquet Center did a fine job preparing a delicious "High Carb" dinner and Gloria Standaert and her crew (Fred, Daughter Katrina Flemming & Julie Frasier) decorated the place very nicely.

Brad "Don't quit your day job" was great as Master of Ceremonies. His humor had us laughing and groaning throughout the evening. Don Courtney gave the Invocation and President Tony Mifsud gave some surpisingly brief remarks (Just kidding Coach).

Gary Olsen and Ken Pastor won the "Wacky Awards" as comeback kids and were presented with a really cool fish hat as an award.

"Contributor of the Year" was Tony Siroskey for being an outstanding volunteer all year and especially for filling in for Gary Olson in his absence at the Taylor Midtown Run...big shoes to fill.

Female Runner of the year was Karen Wahl, who had an outstanding year running and representing our Club at many races.

Male Runner of the year was Fred Standaert, who had an impressive list of PR's that would knock your socks off.

A new tradition started last year was the previous year's winner presenting the current winner's award. Julie Frasier did such an impressive job presenting the Female Runner of the year that I would nominate her to be announcer at the Allen Park 8K next year.
